Back again to Southcombe Lodge for the Grandfinal weekend
The lodge has 16 bedroom, a large dining/living room, a large kitchen, amenities & a laundry so is still the perfect size for our growing group.
Now the kids are getting older they have claimed their own rooms and we have a girls sleepover room and a boys sleepover room.
We arrived mid afternoon on Thursday and unpacked and set up our bedrooms & had pizza for dinner.
First up Friday Morning was Coffee & bacon & eggs
And then a walk to the Griffith Island lighthouse
It was a Mexican feast for dinner on Friday night
The nights are filled with Shithead and other card games

and a walk into Port Fairy to the market to have a look around there then this time it was the boys turn to head off to the pub for a few pre grand final drinks and to put their bets on then home to watch the game
We had party food and nibbles for lunch and a BBQ for dinner.
We had a couple of new babies join our crew this year, Baby George Libby and baby Boakey Wall so there was lots of baby cuddles
On the way home we all dropped into Tower Hill for a look around and then lunch at Raffertys in Warrnambool
It is so cute to compare the then & now photos and realise how special this weekend is
