Girls Night in Melbourne

With all the look downs and hesitations with going out over the last few years Kayleigh has really missed out on experiencing events such as shows and activities. When Mason was younger we took him to Disney on Ice and now it was finally Kayleigh's turn. 

We brought 2 front row tickets to Disney on Ice which was a princess theme this year & we set off for a girls weekend. It was nearly ruined when finally covid caught us but luckily we came out of isolation the day of the show.

We drove up to Melbourne grabbing McDonalds for lunch on the way and Parked near the Flinders Street Station and jumped on a very busy tram to Rod Laver Arena. We got a programme and a flashing wand  & settled in for the show

We saw Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, Frozen & Moana, with lots of singing and dancing on ice skates

Half time called for a frozen slushy 

After the show we caught the tram back to the car park and then moved the car up to our Hotel & checked in. We had a classic King Room with 2 single beds & Kayleigh loved jumping between the 2 beds 

We went up to check out the roof top pool before heading out to get some dinner 

We had Bettys Burgers for dinner with was just around the corner 

and then headed back to our room for a movie before bed

Kayleigh had a huge sleep in and had to be woken up to make it to the buffet breakfast before it finished!

9:00am

But we made it in time

After breakfast we went and packed up our things and headed back to the car and home again

It was so nice to be able to get away for a Mummy/Daughter night and spend some time together
