We wanted a weekend away with just us, somewhere close by so we could leave after school on Friday and not have to drive too far and somewhere where we didn't want to sight see and could just sit and relax and enjoy the facilities for a day and enjoy some time with the kids and this was perfect
They had a playground, jumping pillow, games room, pedal carts, gym, basketball ring, tennis courts and indoor pool & spa
Friday afternoon was spent checking out the playground and a quick swim before dinner
Saturday morning was more swimming and fun in the pool
Nash got back to nature and made some friends with the birds, they were very friendly and let him touch them
In the afternoon we played some board games and had a hit of tennis and then the kids had a go on the pedal carts
Across the road is the Lucas Shopping centre and new housing estate so we went over to the Lucas central playground
At the back of the caravan park were some very impressive sites for people with dogs, each site was fully enclosed with a large gate at the front
After packing up on Sunday we went into Ballarat and had brunch at the Pancake Kitchen for a treat before heading home & it was so nice to only have to drive 50 minutes to get home
