BALI - March 2025 - Day 5

 Day 5

After our buffet breakfast we headed out for a full day trip. We hired a driver to take care of our day. We used Bintang Family Team Transport Tours and could not have been happier

We went to the Bali exotic Marine Park and got the discovery package

Afterwards we stopped for lunch at Warung Bejana, a place recommended by our driver

and then continued on to Melasti Beach.

Melasti Beach

Melasti Beach is in Ungasan on the Bukit Peninsula in Southern Bali. It's at the southernmost point of the island. Surrounded by beautiful coastal cliffs

The water was very rocky and rough so we didn't go swimming. Melasti beach has a few beach clubs and you can rent sun lounges but we just went for a look before our show in the evening.

Kecak Dance at Melasti Beach

Feel the magic of Bali at Melasti Beach with the iconic Kecak Dance Show! Set against a breathtaking sunset, this 60-minute performance is a cultural spectacle that brings Bali's ancient traditions to life. Let yourself be captivated by the rhythmic “cak… cak… cak” chant and the powerful energy of male dancers reenacting sacred Sanghyang rituals. This isn't just a show—it's an experience that connects you to the spiritual heart of Bali.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped at Jimbaran Bay for dinner on the beach.

Jimbaran Bay

Jimbaran is a fishing village and coastal resort south of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. Jimbaran Bay has a long beach with calm waters. It's lined with fish restaurants and backed by tropical forest. At its northern end, colorful boats are pulled up by the lively, open-air Kedonganan fish market.
