The Gate House

The Gate House is inside the Castle walls, it has a King Bed in the Main room and a set of bunks and a single bed in a separate bedroom
On Fathers Day we headed to Kryal Castle for the day, which is near Ballarat

There was lots of activities to do such as archery, axe throwing, jousting displays, Medieval experiences, live performances, mazes and play ground
Kryal Castle offers accommodation where you can stay inside the castle walls after closing so we decided to book a room and spend the night in a castle!!
We left and went into Ballarat to the Red Lion for dinner and returned to the castle after dark.
It was a bit eerie walking through at night and we are pretty sure we were the only people staying in the castle that night but it was lots of fun.
It was a really fun night away and a different experience to stay in a castle.
