The last couple of years we have been to Monster Jam in Melbourne and decided to stay the night

After we arrived and dropped off the car we went to check into our apartment & drop our bags off. The apartment was very small and there wasn't much room to move around so it was lucky we didn't intend on spending much time there

 One-bedroom accommodations provide an open plan queen bed and a private bedroom with a single bed. This room comes with kitchenette, walk-in shower, open window and balcony with city view.

The room also turned out to be very noisy at night with the trams stopping right at the window & the shower also had drainage problems...

After checking in we headed to the Marvel Vault at Marvel Stadium which is Australia only dedicated Marvel Store. It was a lot smaller than expected but still contained some cool stuff

We had lunch at the Spencer outlet centre 

then caught a train to AAMI Park for the Monster Jam

After Monster Jam we headed back to Crown Casino & went to Kingpin

Kingpin is a fully licenced bar with dinner menu & a range pf activities including bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pool tables & table top games.

We had dinner there and for every $25 spent on food you received a $10 arcade game credit so after dinner we had a play in the arcade.

On Sunday morning we headed on a tram to the docklands 

We had a deal from Scoopon which entitled us to a two course lunch plus a drink for 2 people for $45.00 at Urban Alley, it was great value and very nice 

Then we went for a ride on the Melbourne Star using a two for one coupon from the entertainment book with the kids being free

It was a great weekend away on a budget with deals at every turn.
